She was the daughter of John D. Van Gorden and Cornelia Emery.

Mrs. Adelia V. Brink, widow of J. Howard Brink, who for many years was a reside of Milford, died at her home at the old Half-Way House on the Port Jervis road early Sunday morning, after a long illness. She was aged 82 years, 1 month, and 17 days.

Deceased was born in Lehman township on April 4, 1840, her maiden name being Van Gorden. She was twice married.

Surviving are a brother, Ralph Van Gorden, who resided with his sister; two sisters, Mrs. M.J. Briscoe of Milton, N.Y., and Mrs. David A. Paddock of Oak Lane, N.J.

The funeral was held from the undertaking parlore of Wood, Heilemann & Degen yesterday afternoon, Rev. D.G. Lawson conducting the service. Interment at Dingman's Ferry.
