FLOYD W. REFFNER

Of Box 67, Mounted Route, Roaring Spring, died unexpectedly at 6:15 p.m. yesterday, July 17, 1975, at a physician's office in Claysburg. Mr. Reffner retired in July 1973 from Appleton Papers, Roaring Spring, with 47 years' service. He was born July 11, 1908, in Roaring Spring, a son of William S. and Emma (Claar) Reffner, and married Grace Amick in 1931 in Altoona. Surviving are his wife, four children, Mrs. Betty Henry of Roaring Spring, Harold W. of Martinsburg RD 1, Ira W. of Martinsburg RD 2 and Mrs. Joanna Knisley of Orlando, Fla.; 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Gertrude McMasters of Hollidaysburg, William and Blair of Roaring Spring RD, Elmer of Martinsburg, Mrs. Marietta Butler of Martinsburg RD and Kenneth of New Enterprise. Mr. Reffner was a member of the First Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring. Friends will be received in the John L. Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
