Jean M. Hartl, 85, of Beaver Dam passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam with the Rev. Robert Castro officiating. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church. Inurnment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park in Fox Lake at a later date.

Jean Marie was born the daughter of William and Flora Jahn on June 27, 1927 in Milwaukee County, WI. She was employed with the Beaver Dam Community Hospital in the kitchen department until her retirement. Jean was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.

Jean is survived by her children: Joseph (Sandy) Hartl of Green Bay, Paul (Kathy) Hartl of Appleton, and Kathleen (Jim) Sutton of Beaver Dam; her grandchildren: Jason (Kelly) Hartl, JeriLynn (Tom) Renier, Scott Robertson, Matthew Hartl, Barbara (Paul Brooks) Hartl, Debra (Doug) Wickingson, Jeff (Donnetta) Bacon, and Nicole (Steve) Denton; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Hazel Janovich, Mildred Brueckner, and June Wisniewski, and her granddaughter, Paula Hartl-Reader.

Memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.
