Minnie E. Pope, 96, of Dugger, passed away at 12:30AM June 13, 2007 at Meadow Lakes Senior Living in Mooresville, In.
She was born Brazil, Indiana Sept. 4, 1911 to George Goodwin and Angie Phipps Goodwin.
She was a member of the Cass United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tony Pope in 1978, also four brothers; Henry, Harold, Coy, and John Goodwin, twin sisters, and one great grandson Braden Detty.
She is survived by three daughters; Norma Gambill of Shelbyville, Kay Spencer and husband John of Noblesville, Connie Ringer and husband George of Mooresville, one son; Dean Pope and wife Jo Ellen of Woodlands, Tx. one sister Loretta McClanahan of Owensville, In., 9 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Saturday June 16, 2007 at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Bro. Nick Moore officiating. Burial in the Dugger Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Friday and before
