Ellen Potter Hall of Beaverton, Michigan, died on Dec. 12, 2002 at home after a long illness. Ellen was born March 17, 1898 to Clarence and Hepzabeth (Burns) Rambo in Saginaw County. She was a teacher for many rural schools in Saginaw County. After her retirement from teaching, Ellen and her first husband, Floyd Potter, purchased the All Bright Shores Bar, renaming it Potter's Tavern, and later opened a small grocery store near the tavern. She was a life member and past Worthy Matron of the Salina Order of Eastern Stars, #439.
