He was the son of Victor and Ruth (Hawk) Maschino. On Feb 4, 1956, he married LaVonne Williams, who preceded him in death Apr 2, 1993. On Mar 29, 2002, he married Heidi Dietzel, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Richard (Tina), Bradford, OH; four daughters: Cheryl (Matt) Huth and Karen (Jim) Hayes, both Indianapolis, Diane (Tim) McCullough, Cincinnati, OH, and Debra (Arnie) Everett, Daleville; two stepsons: John Stanziola, Celina, and Michael (Casandra) Gilbert, St. Marys, OH; a stepdaughter, Chris Stanziola, Celina; two brothers: twin Amos, North Vernon, and Paul, Louisville, KY; two sisters: Irene Simmons, North Vernon, and Agnes Euler, Columbus; four grandchildren: Craig and Brandy Maschino and Joshua and Kari Hayes; and seven great-grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers: Floyd, LeRoy and Roger; and a sister, Sr. Juanita Maschino.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955 and later became a truck driver in 1976. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Celina. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, NASCAR and spending time with his family.
