Joey Mike Johnson age 56 passed from this life on January 18, 2013 in Grove, Oklahoma.

Joe was born on September 25, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William Ray Johnson and Elizabeth Ann Roley.

Joe was a caregiver to many people. He was a Spiritual Father to all of his nephews, nieces and other members of the family. He was honored on every Father's Day with love and gifts just as if he was the father.

Joe loved to sing, play the harmonica, write songs, laugh, tell jokes, but most of all he truly knew the importance of witnessing and sharing the word of God to all. Joe's guidance and true love will be deeply missed.

Joe is survived by Sister Andrea Perdue and husband Bruce of Jay, Ok. Brothers: Benjie Johnson of Claremore, Andy Johnson of Tulsa, Kenneth Johnson and wife Lynda of Jay, Thomas Johnson also of Jay, OK and Chris Johnson of Tulsa. Joe is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by both his mother and father and one brother Timmy.

Visitation and Services are scheduled for the same day on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 P.M., at Grand Lake Funeral Home in Jay, OK, 311 West Gray, (918) 253-5100, with services following 2:00p.m., at the Community Chapel, also in Jay, with Pastor Johnnie Scott officiating.

Interment will follow at Mose Ridge Cemetery in the Topsy Community.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin, Joey and Nick Kosier, Benjie, Kenneth, Timonthy, and Levi Johnson, Terry Goins and Donny Dugan.
