Services for Bobbie Malene Townsend will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Pachuta Baptist Church, where Mrs. Townsend was a member, with Reverend Ricky Carlisle officiating. Interment will be at Meridian Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Meridian, MS. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Townsend, age 91, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Wisteria Manor Personal Care Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joel and Jenny Gray, husband Moody Melton, son Elmer Dallas (Shorty) Townsend, and brothers Rayford, Ed, R. D., and Henry Gray.
