Pamela F. Decker died on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, along with her son, Daniel, resulting from complications during a house fire. She was 58 years old. She was born in Irvington, and lived in Botany Village in Clifton before moving to Rockaway Twp. in 1996. Mrs. Decker was employed by NJ Bell prior to her retirement. She currently worked at Christmas Tree Shops in Rockaway.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Brent; two brothers, Gary and Craig Eustace; three sisters, Barbara Possien, Janet Dunn and Cheryl Weinowitz; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 3:00- 6:30 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 6:30 p.m., at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 Green Pond Rd, Rockaway. Arrangements by Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home, 20 Keller Ave, Rockaway. In lieu of flowers, donations to: HTLC-Friends of the Deckers', c/o Holy Trinity Lutheran Church would be most appreciated.
