He was born Nov. 12, 1925, to the late Ollie R. and Era Fay Wylie Chitsey. He was a dairy and cattle farmer.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Rosemary Chitsey, Winnsboro; son, Jack Chitsey, Winnsboro; daughter, Jill and Johnny Hobbs; brother, J.D. and Monty Chitsey, Dallas; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Aubrey D. Chitsey, age 85 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011. He was born on November 12, 1925 in Franklin County to the late Ollie R. and Era Fay Wylie Chitsey. He was a dairy and cattle farmer, a member of First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro, and a member of the Airstream Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Joyce, John, and Henry Chitsey. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Rosemary Chitsey of Winnsboro; son, Jack Alan Chitsey of Winnsboro; daughter, Jill Kathleen Chitsey Hobbs and husband Johnny Ray Hobbs; brother, J.D. Chitsey and wife Monty of Dallas; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
