Robert "Bob" Bruce Beymer went home to the Lord on Oct. 21, 2009.
Bob was born April 20, 1954. He was the son of Eleanor Beymer and the late Bruce Beymer. He grew up and lived his entire life on the Beymer family farm outside of Old Washington, except while attending The Ohio State University, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. For many years, Bob was a member and chief of the Old Washington Volunteer Fire Department. He always enjoyed and was at his best helping others in need. He also served a term as the Old Washington Village constable. Bob was also a Mason. He was a 31-year member of the Hubbard Lodge 220 F&AM of Adamsville. He was an avid outdoorsman and farmer.
He is survived by his mother, Eleanor G. Beymer, and cousins Tom Stevens, Charles Stevens, Terry Scott, Craig Willis and Marie Thomas.
Calling hours were from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 27 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 28 with the Rev. Bill Worcester officiating.
Bob was buried in the Beymer family plot in Old Washington Cemetery.
