Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Louise Buffington, age 40, of Dalton, Georgia departed this life on Wednesday January 17, 2013 at the local hospital. Becky was born August 20, 1972 in Dalton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Lynn Cross.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Tray Buffington III of Rock Springs, GA; daughter, Kaitlyn Ashley Buffington; mother, Mary Ruth Ridley; father, Wayne Cross; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley Jean Cross, Vickie and Steve Parks; brothers and sister-in-law, Ronald Cross all of Dalton, GA, Jeffery and Mae Cross of Chicago, IL; special niece, Christy Esquivel; special friends, Loretta Bodwell and Pam Ingle; several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Louise Buffington will be held Sunday January 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Steve Parks officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Saturday.
