"Mr. Haney served in WWII as a Marine. He was retired from Atlantic Steel and was also a Mason.
"Survivors include his sisters, Mary Dorothy Templeman; Shirley (and Marion, Sr.) Price and JoAnn Rentz. Also surviving are three generations of nieces and nephews.
"Funeral services for Mr. Haney [were] held Sunday, June 10, 2012 in the H.M. Patterson and Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel.... Interment follow[ed] at Camp Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery."
