Dawn L. Dittenber, of Tawas City, Michigan, formerly of Oscoda, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Lakeview Manor Healthcare Center, age 67.

Dawn was born on September 13, 1945 in West Branch, Michigan to Carl and June (Smith) Dittenber.

She graduated from Tawas High School. Dawn was a very talented crafter who worked for herself doing needle point, crocheting, and knitting. She was active with many various organizations such as the Oscoda United Methodist Church, Ladies Auxiliary, Oscoda Lioness, and the Oscoda Area TOPS. Dawn was loved by many friends and family. She never forgot anyone she met. She gave the best hugs ever! She was an angel even before she went to heaven and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dawn is survived by her two brothers, Charles D. (Diane) Dittenber of Holt, Michigan, and Gary M. (Mary) Clark of Saginaw, Michigan; nieces and nephews, Chuck and Mike Dittenber and Christi and Sean Clark; and many many dear friends.

Dawn is preceded in death by her father Charlie Dittenber of AuGres, and her mother, June Warner of Tawas City.

Interment will take place in the Oscoda Pinecrest Cemetery.
