Phyllis Eaton 71, passed away on May 8, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born January 24, 1927 in Salt Lake City, to Floyd Addison Tassie and Dorthy Mariam Miller. She married Walter E. Eaton in July 9, 1946, later divorced. Phyllis was an active member of the LDS Church, endowed in the Jordan River Temple in 1996. Her favorite pastimes were ceramics and stichery.

Survived by: sons, Michael (Susan) Eaton, Kevin (Laura) Eaton both of Salt Lake City; daughters, Virginia (Suzy) Romero (Carlos) of Sterling, VA, and Pam (John) Larson of Salt Lake City; sisters, Mariam Leavitt, of Dugway, UT, Carol Wilson, of Pierre, SD, and Judy Busath, of Williams, CA; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: parents, Floyd and Dorothy Tassie, brother Roland and sister Beverly Webb.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 1998 at 4 p.m., at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. Friends and family may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Redwood and one hour prior to service on Tuesday.
