Judy Lee McFarland, 67, of Greeneville, died Friday morning at Durham-Hensley Health and Rehabilitation.

She retired from Sears after more than 30 years of service.

Survivors include: two sons: Bruce McFarland of Greeneville and Dennis McFarland of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two granddaughters: Jennifer Fann and her husband, Michael, and Brandi McFarland; four great-grandchildren: Kaylee Fann, Morgan Fann, Jessica Phillips, and Jonathan Phillips; a "very special" friend: Shelia Barham; and other special friends: Darla Paxton, Sandra Ricker, Mary Anna Pirozzoli, Brenda Crawford, and Marty Bowman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack McFarland, who died Tuesday; her parents, O.L. and Elizabeth Byrd; and one son, Michael McFarland.

The family will receive friends for both Judy and Jack McFarland from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. The joint funeral service will be held at 12:30 on Sunday afternoon in the chapel of Doughty-Stevens.

The Rev. David Woody will officiate.

Interment will follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Michael Fann, Kellen Keller, Pete Kidwell, Kip Krigger, J.C. Southerland, and Dairy Koob.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Harrison, the staff of Durham-Hensley Health and Rehabilitation, Randy Willett, Wally Bible, Sammy Harrison, Minnis Paxton, Scott Paxton, and members of the Greeneville Community Concert Band, which was once the YMCA Orchestra.
