NEWVILLE - Karl B. Kough, 56, Newville RD 5, North Newton Twp., died Saturday.
He was a farmer in North Newton Twp. for 22 years; employed by E.E. Kough & Sons, Newville; a graduate of Carlisle High School; an Army veteran of the Korean War; a former member of the Pennsylvania National Guard unit in Carlisle; and a member of West Hill United Methodist Church, a trustee of the church, and a member of the Adult Class of the Sunday School.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Hostetter Kough; a son, John M. Kough, at home; two daughters, Karen Kough of Carlisle RD and Linda Webber of Newville RD 5; four sisters, Addessa Lay of Newville, Lyrian Kough of Carlisle, Pearl Snyder of Carlisle, and Shirley Anderson of Plainfield; and one granddaughter.
Services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Tuesday in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, with the Rev. Alex Quigley officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Twp.
