Anita Vanessa "Mama Nita" Turner, A native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013. She was 50, a former Louisiana State Worker and a Car Sales Consultant.

She graduated from Zachary High School and Delta College, and attended Kaplan University.
