Whaler, later officer of Boston-Provincetown packet

Jesse7 Nickerson (Jesse6, Seth5, Ebenezer4, William3, Nicholas2, William1) was born Provincetown, MA 10 Nov. 1829 son of Jesse and Mary (Smalley) Nickerson. He died there 6 Aug. 1898 and is buried in Gifford Cemetery, Lot #216 with his wife Mary.
He married, Provincetown 14 Nov. 1852 Mary Ann Morgan. She was born in Hebron, ME 30 Mar. 1825, daughter of Solomon and Polly (Rowe) Morgan. She died in Provincetown 12 Jan. 1898.
Jesse Jr. was named in deeds signed by the heirs of his father, Jesse Nickerson, on 3 Nov. 1862 and again on 15 Dec. 1864.
In the 1860 census Jesse, agae 31, born in MA, Mariner, with real estate valued at $1000.00 and personal estate at $300. Mary was age 33, and William, age 4.
1880 census Jesse, age 48, a sailor. Mary age 53, and Mable age 13
children born in Hebron, Maine and Provincetown.
William Kilburn, b. 9 Oct. 1856; m. 12 Jan. 1877, Adelia Loretta Rogers; d. 2 Nov. 1931. He said he was born in Hebron, ME in his letter of 1906. He was a railroad engineer and in the livery stable business. No children.
Nellie Davis Vaughn, b. 21 Sep. 1865; d 9 Feb. 1869 age 3y 4 m 19d
Nellie Mabel, b. as Hattie White; adopted 1885. She m. 2 July 1892 George Adams.
