Walter Andersen Services Wednesday

S. Walter Andersen was born December 21, 1908, on the farm west of Blair where he made his home until 1969 when he moved to Blair. He was the son of the late Christoffer and Sine Andersen. He passed away Saturday evening, March 7, 1970, enroute to the Memorial Community Hospital at the age of 61 years.

On June 5, 1935, he was united in marriage to Margaret Linden. To this union one son, Donald C. Andersen was born.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and by a son, Donald C. Andersen, of Blair.

A brother, Christian M. Andersen lives in Blair and a sister, Mrs. Orville Jepsen lives in Omaha. There are two grandchildren and some nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Albers conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers were Walter Petersen, loyd Nottleman, Elmer Truhlsen, Clifford K. Hansen, Claus Detjens and William Vogt.
