Lawrence Wayne Parks, age 91, of Greenfield, passed away on January 16, 2013. Born on May 29, 1921, in Coshocton County, Ohio, he was the son of Claud and Agnes (Corder) Parks. Lawrence graduated from Montpelier High School and married Barbara N. Aymer on April 3, 1942, in Marion, Indiana. He worked as parts manager at Bud Wolf Chevrolet in Indianapolis and was a former member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Greenfield.

Surviving him are his sons, Joe Parks of Topeka, Kansas, David Parks of McCordsville, and Jim Parks of Greenfield; sister, Marma Parks of Marion; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife; daughter, Marlin Rook; two sisters; and one brother.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 20, 2013, from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 21, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Burial will take place at New Palestine Cemetery.
