DIED - On the 1st of April [1808], of a short but painful illness, Mr. SAMUEL SHAW STERLING, in the thirty-fourth year of his age. His remains were conveyed to Burlington, the place of his nativity, where, on the 3d inst, they were deposited, attended by a large concourse of the citizens of that place and its vicinity, with a number of friends from this city.
