Alice C. Adams

Dexter. - Alice C. Adams, 85, Dexter, died March 20, at 7:30 a.m. in her home in Dexter. She was born Jan. 23, 1890 west of Dexter, the daughter of John W. and Cornelia Lewis and married Blaine D. Adams in 1912. He preceded her in death June 30, 1963.

She was a housewife, member of Eastern Star in Dexter and the Presbyterian church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Vera Grello and Mrs. Rosaille Allison, both of Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Reta Earhart, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Marie Crow of Dexter, one brother, John D. Lewis of Fort Myer, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Emma Hoyt, Topeka and 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services by Miles Mortuary in Burden will be held Monday, March 24, at 2 p.m. in the Dexter Baptist church.
