WASHINGTON - Gary "Mac" McAllister of Newark, Del., passed away and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013.

Gary was born Nov. 8, 1950, in Pontiac, Ill., and graduated from Washington Community High in Washington, Ill.

He proudly served his country in the Army for over 20 years.

Gary was a devoted husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and a friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Mary.

He is survived by his wife, Pil Sun; son, Tim; daughter, Jennifer Romo (Randy); grandkids, Josh, Logan, Alexia and Kannon; brother, Greg (Mary); and many nephews and nieces.

Gary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will be cherished forever.

Services will held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas, on Friday, Jan. 25, at 3 p.m.
