Gerald Vaughn, 81, of Charleston died Tuesday (Jan. 15, 2013) at home.
He was born on July 18, 1931 in Charleston to Guy and Elizabeth Opal Shriner Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Elizabeth Ann King and two brothers, Dale Vaughn and Wendell Dean Vaughn.
He married M. Charlene Schwartz on April 1, 1953 in Charleston. She survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Derinda Vaughn and Brenda Vaughn (Bob) Schlaline; twin grandsons, Connor and Robbie Schlaline and a sister-in-law, Pauline Vaughn.
