GULFPORT --- Earline Beatrice Graves, 62, of Gulfport died Sunday, August 1, 1999, in Gulfport.

Mrs. Graves was born in Bessemer, AL., was educated in Gulfport schools and resided in Lafayette, LA., for 18 years before returning to Gulfport in 1984. She attended Tulane University and Dominican College, received her degree from the University of Southwestern LA and received her master's degree from Northwestern LA University. she was a homemaker, mother, artist and art teacher, and was involved in neighborhood garden clubs, church choir and amateur radio (ham). She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Gulfport and Grace Presbyterian Church in Lafayette. As an artist, she did portraits and nature scenes.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lessie "Bea" Daniels.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Thomas A. Graves of Gulfport; three daughters, Beatrice Louise Graves of St. Petersburg, FL., Diana Earline Rice of Houston, TX., and Casey Kathleen Graves of Waveland; a son, Thomas Bennett Graves of St. Petersburg, FL.; her father, Walter Lee Daniels Sr. of Gulfport; a brother, Walter Lee "Buddy" Daniels Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL.; and a grandson, Joshua Alden Graves of St. Petersburg, FL.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport. The funeral service will be Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Gulfport. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.

The family prefers memorials to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 5005 Lawson Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39507; or the American Cancer Society, 182-A DeBuys Road, Biloxi, MS 39531.
