Dennis Ferrell was born May 8, 1931 and departed this life Tuesday, January 15, 2013 reaching the age of 81. He was the son of the late George and Martha Jane (Winchester) Ferrell.
He was united in marriage to Doris Kidd and to this union 5 children were born.
He is survived by: his wife, Doris Ferrell of Monticello, KY; 4 sons, Kenny, Donald, Steve, and Danny Ferrell all of Monticello, KY; 1 daughter, Rita Tuberville of Monticello, KY; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way. He is also survived by: 1 sister, Marie Russell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, George and Martha Jane Ferrell, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Everette Ferrell; and 1 sister, Pearl Hall.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Catron officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
