- Dorothea L. Hartley, 85, of Cabool, Mo., formerly of Camp Grove, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool.
Born Feb. 6, 1919, in Camp Grove to James P. and Mary F. Herberger Hickey, she married John "Jack" Hartley on May 27, 1941, in Camp Grove. He died in 1997.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Bassett of Cabool and Donna Hegwood of Snellville, Ga.; one brother, John Hickey of Camp Grove; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She worked for Camp Grove State Bank for 48 years, retiring in 1984 as director of the bank.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Camp Grove and its Altar & Rosary Society.
