Mexican Composer. She was best remembered for her song "Bésame Mucho" that was translated to more than 30 languages and played by The Beatles, Plácido Domingo, Luis Miguel or Celine Dion. She also was the composer of "Cachito," "Que Seas Feliz," "No me pidas Nunca" and "Volverás a Mí." She received several awards, the last in 2003. She was cremated in Panteón Español (México).
