Dorothy Ann Ergle Willoughby, age 84 of Douglasville, passed away, January 8, 2013.

She was born May 13, 1928 in Douglasville, GA to the late Thomas Luther Ergle and Clara Belle Milam Ergle. She was a homemaker and mother, the best one in the world. She was of the Baptist faith.

At age 73, she wrote and published "Eight Adventures for Children", a children's book. She loved storytelling and was a lover of knowledge, very intellectually curious.

In addition to her parents, Thomas Luther Ergle and Clara Belle Milam Ergle, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Willoughby: sisters: Gladys, Ida Belle, Carolyn and Mary Ellen; brothers: Don and Chester.

Survivors are her sons and daughter-in-law: John David and Penny Willoughby of Douglasville, Randall Joseph Willoughby of Ballground, GA; daughter and son-in-law: Dawn Elaine and Kurt Greenlow of Douglasville; sisters: Rachael Terry and Ruth Edmondson, both of Douglasville; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 2PM from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Roger Murdock. Interment will follow in the Barber Cemetery, Mableton. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
