Mrs. Herman Wenzel, 72, former county resident, who had resided at Potter in recent years, died Sunday at the Milwaukee County hospital. She had been visiting her daughters in Milwaukee when taken ill.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church in Brillion, with burial in the church cemetery.

She was born Ida Ebert in Maple Grove, Dec 15, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ebert, and in 1900 was married to Mr. Wenzel in Reedsville. They located on a farm in Rantoul, Calumet county, and in 1925 moved to Potter. Mr. Wenzel died five years ago. She was a member of the Trinity church in Brillion and the Ladies Aid society of the congregation.

Survivors are two sons, Reuben of Brillion and Ben of Potter; three daughters, Mrs. Ben (Adela)Klausen and Mrs. Carl (Evelyn) Schumacher of Milwaukee and Mrs. Reuben (Elvira) Schwalenberger of Potter; brother Fred of Reedsville; sister Mrs. Olga Sengbusch of this city; 15 grandchildren and a great grandchild.

The body may be viewed at the Luecker funeral home in Brillion and will be moved to the church at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
