Mrs. Tower died Saturday in Delta Haven Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was a native of Wilkinson County, Miss., living most of her life in Madison Parish and was a member of Mound Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clara Hodge and Mrs. Grace Folk, both of Tallulah; a brother, John Scott of Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. Mittie Wilson of Waco, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Great-grandsons served as pallbearers.
