Effie was born in Ellis co., Texas to Ada Eldridge-Sills and Elvin Leon Sills. She was the mother of Becky, Vicky and David. Effie was a kind hearted person, she was full of pranks. She loved fishing, garage sales and collecting indian dolls. She was a strong willed person! Her grandchildren were the light of her life! They called her "Little Granny". She was very proud of all of them. She loved her dogs and birds. She did not like to see anything go hungry! She liked to keep in contact with old friends. She will be missed! Effie Jennings of Kaufman, passed away Jan.12, 2013. She was born March 31, 1943 in Ellis Co., TX to Elvin Leon Sills,Sr. and Ada B. Eldridge Sills. Effie was the last one in her family having been preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Leon and Joseph Sills and Lona Reed.
She is survived by her children: David Jones and wife, Rebecca of Kaufman, Becky Pattat and husband, Danny, of Crandall; Vickie Busby, also of Crandall; step-children: Robert, Edward, and David Saggisor, all of Bay City, Tx; Patricia Kaiser of Markham, Tx; and Judy Rinando of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Danny Pattat, Dana Anthony, Brandi Rocket and Jeremy Jones; five great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. chapel in Kaufman with Chaplain Pat Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
