Gracie was the "baby" of our family
She was given as a gift to our daughter on her 18th birthday, our cat Ashby passed in 2008 so our daughter wanted another cat.
Since Johnna was out and about all the time Gracie became mine and Pete's cat.
She was such a great cat! She laid on paper, clothes or seat cushions instead of cat beds. She was a great mouser even though she did not have her front claws and she also could catch flies!
Gracie was very, very spoiled. She was a very beautiful cat who walked around with her tail upright, when she was a baby it would go right over her head.
She got sick on a Saturday took her to the vet they believed it was a bladder issue, we brought her home that Monday she had issues breathing so we took her back to the vet. The vet did another X-ray and found that it was most likely Heart Disease and said it did not have a good outcome. We brought her home on Tuesday morning and even though she was still having issues breathing we believed and hoped that she would get better.
Gracie passed about 11:45p Tuesday night with both Pete and I by her side.
