Robert P. Booker, 72, of West Lafayette, died at 3:50 AM Wednesday, May 17, 1989, in Home Hospital, where he had been a patient for one week. He was born at Wheatfield, in White County, on June 8, 1916, and had lived in Tippecanoe County since 1945. His marriage was Nov. 23, 1939, in Lafayette to Alice M. Kantz, who survives. Mr. Booker was a self-employed truck driver and he also farmed. Surviving with his wife are his mother, Mrs. Ruth Palmore of West Lafayette; and a brother, Paul M. Booker of Brookston. There will be a private family service at Hippensteel Chapel, May 19, the Rev. John E. Sines officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
