Services for Elizabeth Eldridge Canipe, 70, Fort Sumner will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Steed-Todd Chapel. The Rev. Bob Brittain will officiate.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Steed-Todd Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
She had lived in Fort Sumner since her retirement in 1987. She married Garland G. Canipe in 1947.
She returned to work in 1973 with the Civil Service in California.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Canipe, Torrance, Calif.; a sister, Theo Brooks, Rio Rancho; and two brothers, Johnny Eldridge, Las Vegas, Nev., and Jack Eldridge, Capitan.
Casket bearers will be C.O. Brady, Jim Bewley, Jay Eldridge, Rick Emmert, Ron Boyett and Stanley Hare.
The family will be at the home of Clarence and Alice Brady in Fort Sumner.
