Mr. FRANKLIN EUGENE DIXON, 225 N. Market St., Frederick, died Sunday, Oct. 28 at Western Maryland Hospital, Hagerstown. He was husband of Mary Virginia Dixon. Born in Frederick, he was a son of Paul and Lakie Virtz Dixon.

He was a member of the American Legion Steadman-Keenan Post 96, Brunswick and Loyal Order of the Eagles, Brunswick.

He is survived by five sons, Franklin Eugene Jr., Thomas Edward Eugene, Douglas Leroy, Richard Allen and Raymond Elwood Dixon, all of Frederick; daughter, Mrs. Betty Lorraine Shook, Frederick; seven grandchildren; and brother, Paul Dixon, Brunswick.

Services were held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, Brunswick; interment was in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.
