Elizabeth "Betty" Rosalee Dailey, of Reed City, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013. She was 89.

She was born February 10, 1923, in Rockford, Ill., to Matthew Mrowiec and Mary Stasica and attended Rockford area schools. In 1945, she was married in Rockford to R.L. Dailey, who passed away in 1972. Betty and her husband owned and operated Dailey's Party Store in Reed City from 1960 to 1977 until their son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Esther Dailey, assumed its ownership following her retirement. She was a longtime member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Reed City and also frequently volunteered her time with Spectrum Health-Reed City Hospital. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed bowling, bingo and playing cards.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Char) Dailey of Reed City; daughter, Sandra (Donald) Foster of Cedar Springs; daughters-in-law, Esther Dailey and Renee Keena, both of Hersey; grandchildren, Michelle (Brian) Fry of Big Rapids, Brett (Tricia) Dailey of Reed City, Rob Dailey of Big Rapids, Jodi (Philip) Robeck of Grant, Tammy (Trent) Livermore of Hersey, Jason (Angela) Dailey of Paris, and Jesse (Mary) Foster of Cedar Springs; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Josh, Jerry, Matt, John, Anakin, Trenton, Morgan, Lillian, Skylar, Emma; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013, at the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church with burial at Woodland Cemetery in Reed City to follow.

A memorial contribution may be made in her name to the RNC unit at Spectrum Health-Reed City Hospital, and envelopes will be available during visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at the funeral home.
