Hallsboro: Empie Mitchell Watts, 63 of Hallsboro died Sunday, January 13,2013 at his residence. He was the son of the late Everette B. Watts and Marjorie McKeithan . Mr. Watts served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and attended Hallsboro Baptist Church. He also served as a police officer for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife Barbara Pierce Watts of Hallsboro, N.C.; Daughter, Laura Dawn Watts of Hallsboro, N.C., Son; Robert Everette Watts & wife Karen of Hallsboro, N.C., Brothers: Everette Timmothy Watts & wife Debbie and Mark Wayne Watts , both of Loris, S.C.. Several Nieces & Nephews and other special children that were close to him.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 16,2013 at 3:00 p.m. at McKenzie Mortuary Chapel with Chaplin Whitney Russell officiating with burial following in the Pierce Cemetery.
