Hazel M. (Bowser) Anthony, of Kittanning, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013. Born July 6, 1927, in East Franklin Township, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Margaret (Zeigler) Bowser. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kittanning. She was formerly employed by Foulis Dry Cleaning, Essex in Kittanning and Toy's Golden Dawn. She volunteered at the election board in East Franklin Township. Mrs. Anthony enjoyed boating, camping, yard work, cleaning, jigsaw puzzles and reading. She was also an animal lover. Survivors include two sons, Theodore E. Anthony and wife, Bette Ann, of Butler, and Daniel J. Anthony, of Havelock, N.C.; grandson, Jason E. Anthony and wife, Michele, of Butler; sister, Faye Miller and husband, Charles, of Mesa, Ariz.; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Delbert J. Anthony, in 2003. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. A.
