CLAYTON G. "SHORTY" KEITH, 81, of Commodore, died Friday, Dec. 5,1986, in Miners Hospital, Spangler. A son of John^and Miriah Patterson Keith, he was born March 12, 1905, in Susquehanna Township. Mr. Keith was a member of Greenwich Local 1609, U.M.W.A. Surviving are these children: John of Cherry Tree RD 2, Sarah Vasbinder of Ciymer RD 2, Betty Laney of Commodore RD 1, James B., Esther Lambing, George, Donald, Dennis, and Brenda Laney all of Commodore, Ronald of Indiana RD, Robert of Dixonville, Jeffrey and Jennifer both of Ciymer, and Robin of Cherry Tree; 32 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Keith, who died in November 1984 and these children: Ellen Long, Shirley, Samuel and Pamela. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today (Saturday) and from 24 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Long Funeral Home, Inc., Barnesboro, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Milton Nichols will officiate. Interment will be in McDowell Cemetery.
