Lucille R. Bombard, 70, of Button Road, Cicero, died Thursday at her home after a long illness.

Born in Ohio, Mrs. Bombard lived in the Syracuse area for 50 years.

She was employed as an inspector with General Electric for 25 years.

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.

Her husband, Lawrence, died in 1992.

Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Gillett of Clay; four sons, Robert and John, both of North Syracuse, William of Fulton and James of Cicero; three sisters, Mary Houle and Emma Wright, both of Michigan and Florine Whited of Ohio; a stepbrother, E.J. Ruffing of Ohio; a stepsister, Barbara Metz of Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sears-Middleton Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt
