Mrs Anna B. Droll reliet of the late Felix Droll and one of the oldest residents of Troy died at her home yesterday morning at 8 o'clock after an illness of about 4 days. She was taken ill on Monday with what terminated in gastritis and although she was given medical attention and tender care, her condition grew worse until the end came quietly and peacefully yesterday morning. Her age exactly 74 years, 11 months and 2 days.

Deceased whose maiden name was See was born January 9,1829 at Fusgenheim, Rheinphatz, Germany. She came to America in 1853 and located at St Louis where she married to Felix Droll in 1855. They moved to Marine two years later and resided there until 1867 when they returned to St Louis. After a year of residence in St Louis they came to Troy on March,17,1868. Seven children were born to their union three of whom died in infancy. Those surviving are three sons and one daughter. August,Louisa,Emil and Felix. The husband and father died Oct.4,1894. Christian See a brother of the deceased died in Lebanon two years ago this month.
