Carol Milton Hooper, 71, of Walker, LA, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 at Baton Rouge General Butterfly Wing. She was a lifelong member of Walker Baptist Church and was a member of the VIP, Visually Impaired Persons group. Carol loved to garden, read, attend the annual Sister's Christmas Tea and taking vacations with her sisters. But the true joy of her life was her family and most important were her grandchildren. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Tuesday, Jan. 15, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume Wednesday, Jan. 16, from noon until service at 2 p.m., officiated by rev. Mel Estess and Dr. Richard Blue. Burial will be at Hiram Stafford Cemetery, Walker. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Survived by her children and their spouses, Dale and George Hunt, Susan and Stacy Mowery, Randy Hooper and Lance Hooper; grandchildren, Jeremy and Kate Moore, Luke Hunt, Seth and Ashley Hunt, Dwaylen Hooper, Drew Hooper, Cole Mowery and Tori Mowery; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Rhys Moore and James Hunt; brother and sister-in-law, George and Marlene Milton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Jack Graham, Marie and Wayne Stafford, Billie and Mel Estess and Madge Cotton; sister-in-law, Edith Berks; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar "Bill" and Bertic O'Neal Milton; and sister, Linda Hutchinson Williams.
