L. C. Ray, Retired Journal-Gazette Printer, Dies - Luther C. Ray, 73, of 1835 Wheeler St. died Saturday in the Union Printers Home, Colorado Springs, Colo., where he had resided since December, 1972. A Wabash native, he lived in the Ft. Wayne area most of his life. He retired from The Journal-Gazette composing room in 1968, after 25 years service and was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are two sons, -----, Ft. Wayne, and ------, Washington, Mich.; four sisters, --------, St. Petersburg, Fla., --------, Mobile, Ala., and -------- and --------; and> > two brothers, ------ and ------, both of Wabash. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home, the Rev. Jon Carlstrom officiating. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Calling will be at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
