Mr. David Earl Caudle, Sr., 44, of 1301 Dews Pond Road SE., Calhoun died suddenly Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002 at his residence.
He was born in Anderson, S.C., on Oct. 15, 1958, son of Vic Caudle and the late Frances Guyton Caudle. At the time of his death he was employed by Southeastern Pipelines and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Sonoraville.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie S. Caudle of Calhoun; his father, Vic Caudle, and his wife, Louise, both of Calhoun; two sons, David Earl Caudle, Jr. and his fiancée, Samantha, and William Franklin "Pete" Caudle, all of Calhoun; a daughter, Amanda Diane Caudle Wilson of Calhoun; two brothers, Frank "Sonny" Caudle of Calhoun and Alexander "Bud" Caudle of Dalton; four sisters, Michelle Hall of Plainville, LaRana Worsham of Calhoun, Dione Akins and Frankie Short, both of Dalton; two grandchildren, Brady Lane Wilson and Anna Marie Elizabeth Caudle; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Thursday, Jan. 2, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Max "Bud" Fuller officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Sonoraville. Pallbearers were Kimble Hall, David Caudle, Jr., Pete Caudle, Sonny Caudle, Buddy Caudle, Ronnie Strickland, and Bud Caudle.
Thomas Funeral Home of Calhoun was in charge of arrangements.
