Johnston, Mrs. Lena Z., 77, of 321 23 Ave., Longview, died May 5 at a local hospital. Born July 28, 1885 in New Hartford, Iowa, Mrs. Johnston had lived in Longview since 1923. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Longview.
Survivors include two sons, Everett L. of Carrolls, and Daryl R. of Auburn; four daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Blaik of Longview, Mrs. Thelma Dickinson of Longview, Mrs. Vera Grim of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Irene Wheatley of Tacoma; eight grandchildren; a brother, Harley Belt of Leedale, Alberta Canada and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Mitchell of Abbottsford, B.C.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Ditlevsen-Moore Chapel with Elder Preston Smith officiating. Interment wil be at Lonview Memorial Park. Ditlevsen-Moore funeral Home is in charge.
