Rachel Allen Price, age 85, was called home on January 13, 2013 to see her heavenly Father at Fairpark surrounded by family. She was born December 26, 1927 in Roysten, GA to Charles & Maryleen Allen. She was the eldest of seven siblings. Rachel married Furman V. Price in 1950, former owner of Allen & Price Upholstery Shop in Maryville. Together they raised 4 children & were together for 51 wonderful years.

Survivors include: Children, Sheila Hackney & husband John, Donna Yates & husband Gary Taylor, David Price & wife Sandy, Lisa Roberson & husband John; Grandchildren, Tony Hackney & wife Lesley, Courtney Yates Chaturvedi & husband Nakul, Nick Yates & wife Morgan, Bradley & Alex Price, Erin & Dylan Hall; Great Grandchildren, Nolan & Garrett Hackney who always brought a smile to her face; Sisters, Helen Merritt, Aurelia Gaddis, Vivian Wise; Brother, Morris Allen; Sister-in-law, Azalee Price Jones; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
