Mrs. Jessie Adelia Anderson, wife of F.L. Anderson was born in Pratt Co. Kansas Nov 30, 1882 and died at her home on East 7th St. in Hugoton, Kansas. She moved to Stevens county with her family about 18 years ago and settled in the south part of the county. Eight years ago the family moved to Hugoton so that the children might have school advantages. She leaves her husband, six daughters: Mrs Lillian Reynolds, Mrs Mary Madden, Mrs Dorothy Thompson, Alice, Nora and Betty Jean, one son, Woodrow; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Al French of Hugoton; two brothers, D.T. & Elwin Sillin, and an aged mother, Mrs. Mary M. Sillen of Cullison. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church in Hugoton of which she was a member. Earl M. Strader, pastor of the church officiated. Interment at Preston, Kansas in the Friendship cemetery.
