Mrs. Barbara Jewel Wilson Culpepper, 66, a resident of Brunswick, died Saturday 1/12/13 in the Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.

Mrs. Culpepper was a native of Johnson City, Tennessee and had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 38 years. She was a former employee with the Southeast Georgia Health System and Belk's In Brunswick.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brunswick a former children Sunday School Teacher and Children's Choir Teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Gus and Ethel Miller Wilson and a brother, Harold Wilson.
Survivors are her husband, Frank David Culpepper, Jr., of Brunswick, a daughter, Heather Michelle Poole (Jeff) of Orlando, Fl., and a son, Shaun Culpepper of Brunswick, two grandchildren, Rachel Amber Poole and Kyle William Poole both of Orlando, Fl., two sisters, Wilma Bishop (Joel) of Elizabethton, TN., and Gail Kyker (Larry) of Jonesborough, TN., a brother, Don Wilson (Lynne) of Johnson City, TN., and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday 1/16/13 in the First Baptist Church of Brunswick with Rev. James E. Crandall officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Tennessee.

The family requests those wishing make contributions to the American Cancer Society . The family will receive friends in the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday 1/15/13 from 6 to 8 PM.
